Our cutting-edge power sources for microwave technology are developed based on more than 30 years of experience and expertise in switch mode power supply design for magnetrons.

Features include market leading efficiency, controllability, power factor correction, and high durability with low maintenance costs. This combination of features makes the total cost of our products competitive.

Our power supplies are embedded processor based and thereby data link controlled and monitored by any type of supervisory control systems. In addition, standalone operation is easily achieved by simple parameter settings.

With amazing specifications and performance, our products are used in a wide range of applications, for example creation of plasmas, cooking food, cleaning water and drying of molds in sand casting.

TECHNOLOGY

SWITCH MODE POWER SUPPLY

A switched-mode power supply incorporates a switching regulator to convert electrical power efficiently from an AC (or DC) source to DC loads, while also converting voltage and the characteristics of the current.

PFC is Power Factor Correction, enables unaffected output under varying incoming voltages and is mandatory in all our designs.

Soft switching topologies are used, for EMI reduction, efficiency and durability. All Dipolar designs are also including a regulated filament supply.

THE MAGDRIVE 1000

Our customers appreciate the quick and easy installation of the power supply, when preparing to drive the magnetron.
Microwave power can be set in 1% steps by the internal CPU, and the included filament supply is regulated for maximum magnetron lifetime.
With control via the data port, clusters of Magdrives can coexist in system installations. By parameter setting Magdrive can also work in standalone applications.

The Magdrive 1000 utilizes power factor correction and accepts input voltages between 180 to 260 Volts, regardless net frequency. And it actually works well with DC input.

With input from expertise in microwave and magnetron technology, we meet their demand for energy efficient power supplies.
